Author Lisa See will share highlights of her new novel which takes place in America titled "Shanghai Girls". This story is about two sisters who, through arranged marriages, leave Shanghai in 1937 for Los Angeles. Both build new lives for themselves in a strange land.

This Event is at 7:30 pm Thursday 12/4 at the Columbus Performing Arts Center at 549 Franklin Avenue. Tickets are $18 in advance and $20 at the door with discounts for students and seniors. In 2010, Thurber House is offering "The Author's Table" inners with the authors plus reserve seating to the reading. Limit 25 dinner guests and reservations are $40 per person.
