City Of Columbus And ODOT Entering Clean-Up Competition Ahead Of Earth Day

(Columbus, OH) -- The City of Columbus and the Ohio Department of Transportation are entering a friendly competition to see who can pick up the most litter. 

According to a release from ODOT, crews will hit the streets next week for the Step Up and Pick Up Challenge. City and ODOT crews will compete to see who can pick up the most litter from city and state right of ways, roadsides, and highway and freeway ramps.

All bags of litter collected by each team will be weighed at the end of the competition on April 22nd to see if Columbus or ODOT crews picked up the most trash.
