COVID-19 Cases Back Above 1,000


(Columbus, OH) -- Ohio Health officials are reporting over 1,000 new daily cases of COVID-19 across the state on Tuesday. 

Officials said there were 1,095 new cases of the virus, with 35 more deaths. Hospitals are reporting 131 new patients, with the number of recoveries from COVID-19 still climbing to an estimated 79,000. The overall cases since March in Ohio are now above 102,000, with just over 3,700 total deaths.
