COVID-19 Cases Rise Across Ohio In New Daily Report


(Columbus, OH) -- A report from the Ohio Department of Health is showing just over 1,600 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday. 

Public Health officials found 1,632 confirmed coronavirus cases yesterday for an increase of nearly 600 more than on Sunday. Doctors reported a large surge in hospitalizations with 119 new patients, including ten ICU admissions.

The ODH says more than 4.3-million Ohioans, or around 37% of the state's population, have started the vaccination process.
