Hilliard City Council Looking At Proposal To Combat Vaping

(Hilliard, OH) -- The city of Hilliard is looking at new regulations aimed at combating the use of vaping by a person under the age of 21.

At their meeting held last night, city council members listened to an ordinance created by City Prosecutor Dawn Steele and officials with the Hilliard School District that would make it illegal for anyone under 21-years-old to possess vaping products while also creating an educational diversion program.

No vote was taken on the measure with the council asking Steele to make a few changes before bringing it back for more consideration on March 9th.
