(Columbus, OH) -- The State of Ohio is approving body camera grants for over 100 law enforcement agencies across the state.
The governor's office announced the $4.7-million in funds yesterday. The Franklin County Sheriff's Office, as well as police departments in Upper Arlington, Obetz, Hilliard, Whitehall, Grove City, and Blendon Township will benefit from the grant.
Another $5.3-million is set to be spent on cameras for law enforcement next year.
