(Columbus, OH) -- The Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services is reporting a drop in the number of cases flagged for potential fraud.

ODJFS officials said yesterday that only 1,200 out of 23,000 initial jobless claims last week were labeled as potential fraud. The department says the numbers are a drop of almost 18,000 fewer than found during a one-week period in March.

ODJFS also said that jobless claims had dropped more than 34% than seen since the pandemic's peak last year.
