Ohio Redistricting Maps Approved

(Columbus, OH) -- The Ohio Redistricting Commission has approved revised state congressional and senate district maps.  

The commission voted on the re-drawn maps Saturday after the Ohio Supreme Court ruled an earlier version unconstitutional. The five-to-two vote along party lines puts the districts in place for the next four years. 

The deadline to approve the maps was at midnight on Saturday.
