Ohio Secretary Of State Updates Efforts To Make 2020 Election Safe And Accessible

(Columbus, OH) -- Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose says his office is doing all they can to make the 2020 election as normal as possible for voters.

LaRose spoke yesterday, assuring voters that the election will be held on November 3rd, and no one, including the President, has the power to change the date. LaRose encouraged voters not to wait until the last minute to request absentee ballots or return completed ballots to county election officials.

LaRose said the state will only have one drop-off box for ballots at every county's board of elections headquarters and will look at adding more in the future.
